A little bit of this, a little bit of that.

Hello!

Thanks for stopping by to read my latest blog post. It has truly been awhile since my last post.

To start out, I'd like to share a little about my latest endeavor - my podcast. I have wanted to do this for the past 7 years, but felt prompted by God to launch it at the beginning of the year. If you haven't been able to listen, and are interested, please do so here:

It has been an exciting journey and I've had the privilege of interviewing some cool people, on a variety of topics. I would love for you to share it, listen to it, and think about being a guest! Reach out to inquire!

It gets to me thinking as I prepared to mention my podcast, about how God often calls us to fulfill specific endeavors, for reasons we'll never know. These are difficult assignments, especially when we begin to lean on our understanding or lack thereof for that matter.

Have you ever stepped out in obedience and began to come against opposition throughout that journey? Have you ever experienced doubt, insecurity, or fear when stepping out into new territory? I have. I've been relearning in this season, about spiritual warfare in a balanced and insightful way, presented by Chip Ingram: https://livingontheedge.org/study/the-invisible-war/. As I've studied this topic as of late, it's fired me up to encourage you to be on guard against such discouragement.

Is God calling you to step out and do something uncomfortable?

Is He calling you to talk to that specific someone about your faith, or speak up to that bully in your life, launch a new project or idea at work, take up a new hobby that will help you break from helping everyone around you?

What it is that He is calling You to in this season?

Whatever it is, do it afraid, do it prayerfully, do it with support - tell a friend you're embarking on this journey, reach out for prayer, and be ready for adversity. Maybe you try your best to avoid going and looking for this adversity, lol. Just don't be surprised if it does come. And as Chip so elequently teaches in the above resource (I shared the link ☝🏼), have the armor of God proactively ready to protect yourself from the wiles of the enemy.

In this season I've also been busy designing a new notebook for my life coaching clients - available on Amazon in the upcoming weeks! My dear friend has been bringing my vision to life as she uses her talents and skills. Thank you Amanda!!! Stay tuned, and I'll update this blog later on with a link to purchase!!

And finally, my health -- oh my health. I'm so grateful (as I've been saying for years now!) to each of you who has been so patient, understanding, and caring to track with me with prayer, encouragement from across the miles, and accommodating me by keeping in touch via email, Whatsapp, Marco Polo, and snail mail, etc. Although my health has not been completely restored, I do believe I'm on the road of recovery.

This LONG season has been more about a simple diagnosis, and remedy. It's been about revamping my lifestyle, reevaluating my values and relationships, and restoring my heart and soul. The Lord has been so gentle in his way as he's been reconstructing me, guiding me, and getting my attention when my stubborn, independent spirit continues to take over again and again.

I've learned what it means to surrender to Him in ways I've been resisting as a human throughout my life.

I'm still on this journey -- will you pray for me as I continue to be clay in the potters hands?

Let's pray...

Heavenly Father,

We come before you -

Tired, burdened, grateful, blessed, highly favored, and yet still full of questions we continue to bring to you and seek answers to.

Please bless us on this journey as we seek you and learn to submit to you.

Please heighten our spiritual ears as we want so desperately to hear your voice.

Guide us and encourage us on, as we run this race of life on earth.

May we bless you with our lives, honor you with our being, and be granted the boldness to continue to share the Good News with all we come in contact with.

In Jesus' name I pray,

Amen? Amen!

Please drop me a line, I want to hear about YOU:
